Verse three of Chapter six, in the Book of Genesis, says: "And the LORD said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man ..."

That does not mean that God was giving up on us ...as is well-evident by the population of our present earth. The heart of man was not foremost with God ...and often not at all.

If God is not foremost in our lives, it eventually becomes not at all ...little by little, and we don't even see it as such.

If we read the Bible, we don't have to imagine ...we can know.  But, many don't know ...and they doubt.

And if you doubt that the Bible is true, then what else do you have??

You have your imagination.

You can imagine God to be whom you want Him to be ...and you can imagine Jesus having walked the earth, even imagining how He would respond if He walked the earth today, in our society.

You can imagine who He would condemn, and who He would favor.

You can imagine that He wouldn't condemn anyone.

You can imagine there is no Satan, no Hell, no bottomless pit, and no lake of fire burning with brimstone.

You can imagine like those who imagined in verse five ---"And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually."

We may say our heart is not evil, only a bit not nice sometimes ...and not continually so, only certain times as we struggle. Yet, there are those who have to live daily under conditions that may see you a bit disconnected in viewing things as such.
